Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Summary
Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products replenishing and requisitioning within assigned areas of high value goods such as Surgical Services Cath Lab EP and Imaging. Duties are not limited to the supply room but extend to all areas of the hospital or facility. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Monitors and assures inventory levels meet demand tracking usage and setting inventory levels for specific group of products in support of PAR and Perpetual locations.
Work requires general knowledge of inventory management systems / procedures as they relate to healthcare incumbent follows established channels of communication in handling routine and non-routine problems and recognizing issues that need referral to the variety complexity and cost of medical supplies / equipment the opportunity for positive financial impact to the organization through the application of effective inventory practices and on-timing ordering strategies is significant.
Essential Functions
Job Requirements
Education / Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of clerical work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills / abilities.
Two years of related work experience in a Material Management function (e.g. inventory distribution etc.) preferred
