Nuclear Methods Engineer

A company is looking for a Nuclear Methods Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Develop neutronics methods for fast spectrum molten salt reactor analysis

Implement nuclear analysis methodologies using Python software

Conduct core design and analysis activities for advanced nuclear reactors

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 6 - 10 years of relevant experience

Experience in nuclear design / analysis methodologies, particularly for fast-neutron reactors

Proficiency in radiation transport software

Programming experience, preferably in scientific computing, with a focus on Python

Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies
