The Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is looking for their Senior Catering Manager.

Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is a 4 Diamond hotel located in the heart of the Northern Virginia technology corridor; this hotel offers 458 guestrooms and 28,000 square feet with their largest room at 10,952 sq feet of ballroom space.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years proven experience in catering sales and services, particularly within cultural weddings, social events, galas, and fundraisers. They must possess a flexible schedule with full availability to work any day or hour without limitations. A strong and strategic seller, this individual excels at identifying opportunities and securing new business. They should have in-depth knowledge of banquet food and beverage operations and demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Pattern : Typical office hours of 8 : 30AM – 5 : 00 PM with required flexibility to adjust schedules for early mornings or late evenings on all days based on client engagement events.

What will I be doing?

As Senior Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships, negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business. Creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience. Maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts. Fostering all internal customer relationships to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the contracting, pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events. This position primarily handles complex social events. Directs event logistics to affected departments and team members responsible for event execution. Serve as the primary contact and is responsible for his / her experience. May support and act on the behalf of the Director of Catering and Events
