About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Colorado starting Jan 5, 2026. This 36-day opportunity features 12-hour shifts in a typical urgent care setting, with a schedule spanning Monday through Sunday. Physicians must be comfortable seeing pediatric patients ages 3 months and older and have 3 to 6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care.

  • Monday - Friday : 8 am - 8 pm
  • Saturday : 8 am - 7 pm
  • Sunday : 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care in a typical urgent care setting
  • Evaluate and treat patients ages 3 months and older
  • Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage (I&D) procedures
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs
  • Treat work-related injuries; work comp experience is a plus
  • DOT certification is advantageous
  • Utilize Practice Velocity EMR for documentation

    • Additional Information

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care required
  • Must be board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
  • Colorado license required
  • Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patient populations
