Job Description

Job Title : Design Engineer

Location : Longmont, CO 80501

Duration : 12+ months (could go beyond)

The types of exciters being replaced include potential source, bus-fed, brushless, DC rotating, and partial / full compound.

The replacement EX2100e excitation system sizes range from 35A voltage regulators to 8000A full static multi-bridges.

Strong technical management and customer communication skills are essential. A solid understanding of power electronics and generator applications is required.

The Lead Engineer / Technologist will be responsible for providing technical support to sales and for the technical execution of system engineering, hardware, and software generation from order hand-off to commissioning. This includes supporting the commissioning team.

This is a global business with regional engineering teams supporting the factory-based team.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate with regional engineering resources to gather field data, support customer meetings, and assist during commissioning.
