Responsible for assisting in the organization, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the therapeutic recreation program. Works under the direct supervision of the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator and is responsible for the supervision and training of the Recreation Assistants.

Qualifications and Requirements

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field is required. Equivalent experience or coursework may be considered in substitute of formal degree, if the individual demonstrates competence in the area of activities and the elderly. Two (2) years experience working with the elderly. Supervisory experience preferred. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED with retraining every two (2) years.

Starting Hourly Rate $20.74
