job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform daily tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Collect quality blood specimens from patients of all ages (including pediatric and geriatric). Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols. Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort, trust, and confidence. Maintain required documentation and records with attention to confidentiality and accuracy. Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and staff. Represent the organization positively and uphold company values and leadership behaviors. Support staffing needs with flexibility, including availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments. Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws. Strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable keyboarding and data-entry abilities. High school diploma or equivalent required . Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred . Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, and WA). Minimum of 6 months p hlebotomy or related experience required . 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred.
