Job Summary :

The Van Driver plays a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable, and timely transportation of youth to and from Club sites, schools, and authorized activities. This position is responsible for the safety and well-being of all passengers, maintaining accurate transportation logs, and operating vehicles in compliance with organizational policies and state / federal regulations. The Van Driver also supports program operations by assisting with arrival and departure transitions, monitoring vehicle conditions, and upholding safety standards at all times. This is a grant-funded position, and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

• Safely transport youth between homes, schools, Club sites, and special events.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of routes, mileage, passenger counts, and pick-up / drop-off times.
• Support youth participation in Club programs by providing consistent, dependable transportation.
• Foster a positive Club experience by creating a safe and welcoming environment during transit.
