A company is looking for a Director of Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities

Operationalize and promote programs for Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, and Data Privacy

Lead and develop the Data Governance team while collaborating with business and technology leaders

Define and implement Data Governance principles, standards, and strategies aligned with organizational goals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education; Master's preferred

Typically 8+ years of experience in Data Governance and Management, with 3+ years leading a Data Governance program

10+ years of experience in complex enterprise data architecture efforts

5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, or similar domains

Prior experience in defining data architecture principles and optimizing processes for operational excellence
