Position Overview:

As a Stainer, Painter, Finisher at Schoenhards Custom Cabinetry Inc., you will play a crucial role in the finishing process of our custom cabinetry projects. You will be responsible for staining, painting, and applying finishes to our cabinetry to ensure a flawless and beautiful end result for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for staining and painting by sanding, filling, and priming as needed
• Select and mix paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes
• Apply stains, paints, and finishes using various techniques, such as spraying, brushing, or rolling
• Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all cabinetry pieces
• Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others in the workplace
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a stainer, painter, or finisher in a woodworking or cabinetry setting
• Knowledge of different types of stains, paints, and finishes, as well as their application techniques
• Ability to mix and match colors accurately to achieve desired results
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality craftsmanship
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with woodworking tools and equipment is a plus
