The Senior Manager, Customs Brokerage, assists the Supervisors in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Customs Brokerage team. This position provides leadership and oversight within the Brokerage team to ensure compliant transactions, efficient production, and the required customer service level and profitability is achieved and maintained, as well as providing support for team members to promote development. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties./pulliOversee Supervisors for Customs Brokerage./liliManage ad support for general Accounts and Polaris teams./liliBackup for Director, Customs Brokerage when out of the office./liliParticipate in the monthly Polaris and Toro broker calls and QBRs./liliProvide trade compliance updates to customers and internal teams./liliBack up for the monthly PMS ACH reports from the ACE portal and provide to internal and external customers./liliAssist with new customer onboarding and entry writer assignment gathering of information needed for entries to be performed, and help ensure smooth transition./liliProvide regulatory and practical guidance as needed./liliProvide HTS advice./liliMonitor the 410 ISF exception report daily./liliAttend the weekly Cargowise calls and share applicable info as needed./liliMonitor the 410 CRAW and daily invoice reports./liliParticipate in new customer calls./liliMonitor PSC requests and ensure timely processing./liliDrive preemptive communication and take immediate corrective action when needed to minimize exposure and risk to our customers and EFW; Communicate high-risk situations to the Director, Customs Brokerage./liliTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues./liliIdentify, document, and implement process improvements./liliProvide ongoing feedback to their direct reports and ongoing communication with the Director, Customs Brokerage./liliLead, coach, and mentor team members./liliBack up the team as needed./liliRegular attendance is required./liliComply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pThe qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required./ppSKILLS AND ABILITIES/pulliHigh-level working knowledge of the Customs entry process, different types of Customs entries, and PGA entry processing in ACE./liliHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written./liliHighly developed customer service orientation./liliAbility to ensure work is performed according to the customers SOP and meet their expectations in a high-volume environment./liliProcess-driven./liliDemonstrated mindset and articulated vision for a leadership role, along with a desire to continually develop leadership skills./lili10+ years of experience is preferred in a Customs Brokerage operations environment./liliCustoms brokerage license preferred but not mandatory./liliTeam player./liliMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check./liliMust be eligible to work in the United States./liliAt this time, EFW will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./liliEFW offers an opportunity to grow and develop your career in an environment that provides a fulfilling workplace for employees, creates an environment for continuous learning, and embraces the ideas and diversity of others.
