Talent Space, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Application Developer for a contract opportunity in Thousand Oaks, CA!

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize modern tools and technologies such as Java, Drools / Red Hat BRMS, JBoss, Git, Maven, and Agile methodologies
  • Apply Behavior-Driven and Test-Driven Development practices, including the use of JUnit for testing and development
  • Build, and maintain web services and enterprise-level applications
  • Prepare software solutions for production
  • Address and resolve user-reported issues in live environments
  • Independently manage small-scale projects and contribute effectively to larger team initiatives
  • Develop in Linux-based environments using tools like Visual Studio Code
  • Leverage AWS for cloud-based application development and deployment

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Java, with strong proficiency in core Java and web services
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Drools / Red Hat Business Rules Management System or similar rules engines
  • Proven experience developing web applications and writing unit tests using JUnit
  • Background in working with JBoss Application Server
  • 5+ years of experience using Git and Maven
  • Proficient in working within Linux-based development environments
  • Experience with AWS, SQL, and Visual Studio Code

    • Preferred : Familiarity with JBPM or other business process automation tools
