[job_card.job_description]Competitive Base Salary Flexibility for academic and clinical development Quality / Production Bonuses Commencement bonus Relocation assistance Excellent benefits package CME allowance Malpractice / liability License(s) expense Great PTO Location : Saginaw, MI Clinical (0.7 FTE) : Regular inpatient day shifts with integrated teaching of students and residents Administrative (0.3 FTE) : Leadership duties, committee participation, and program oversight Blend of clinical care with administrative leadership, serving as a key liaison between the hospital medicine team, administration, and other departments. Provide and manage direct inpatient care for Internal Medicine patients Supervise, mentor, and evaluate residents and medical students in both clinical and hospital settings Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and monitor quality, safety, and performance metrics Serve as liaison between Hospital Medicine, hospital administration, and other departments to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency Participate in recruitment, orientation, and professional development of hospitalist providers Support educational programs, conferences, and curriculum development within the residency and medical education framework Lead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings MD or DO degree; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM) Eligible for Michigan medical licensure and faculty appointment with a College of Medicine Demonstrated leadership, teaching, and communication skills Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
