Collections Specialist

As a Collections Specialist, you will communicate with consumers via phone and approved written correspondence to resolve unpaid accounts. You will provide thorough, efficient, and accurate updates to account files for each interaction, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations governing the collections industry. This role requires strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned by management.

The work schedule is 5 days in the office : 8am-5pm Monday through Thursday and 8am-4pm on Friday. You will be part of a team of 13 collection specialists and 1 manager. Additionally, there are opportunities to earn extra monthly bonuses based on performance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
