Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer, located in Fairmont, WV. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for the design, programming, and troubleshooting of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. Daily tasks include developing control system programs, testing and commissioning equipment, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance. The role may also involve reviewing system requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and maintain PLC systems using Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, and 5000.
- Develop and configure HMI applications with Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME and SE.
- Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen-Bradley PowerFlex series VFDs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into production processes.
- Provide technical support for system upgrades, modifications, and expansions.
- Document programming standards, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Train maintenance and operations staff on automation systems as needed.
