About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to provide technical support to end users of personal computers.
Essential Functions
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on personal computers
Configure and install new desktops and laptops
Install software on personal computers
Relocate personal computers and peripherals
Troubleshoot printer and printing problems
Retire personal computer equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Intermediate technical troubleshooting skills
Intermediate knowledge of personal computer operating systems and hardware
Intermediate knowledge of IT service management software
Ability to collaborate with others to in order to solve problems spanning multiple technologies
Ability to install and remove equipment weighing 50 pounds and spend extended periods of time standing
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2+ years of experience supporting personal computers in an enterprise environment required
