Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Location : Bethel, CT

Employment Type : Part Time 4p-9p - Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities :

Administer medications to residents

Provide direct care and support to residents

Conduct wellness counseling and teaching

Engage in health promotion activities

Participate in assessments under the guidance of the Resident Services Director (RN)

Support residents and their families

Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants

Train new associates and audit care quality

Complete required monthly in-service training

Education / Experience / Licensure / Certification :

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state

Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience

Experience or a keen interest in working with older adults

Preference for candidates with dementia or psychiatric experience, though not mandatory

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

In good physical and emotional health, free from communicable diseases
