As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. You will deliver outstanding customer service, respond to situations as they arise, and communicate clearly with team members. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support retail staff and visitors by answering questions and providing assistance as needed while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
