Overview

TRC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry- or junior-level Environmental / Civil Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Scientist to join our Engineering, Construction, and Remediation practice in San Francisco , CA . The position focuses on a candidate seeking to develop technical skills to support various environmental consulting services, including environmental assessment / inspection, construction monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of task / project managers, integrate with our diverse regional team, and demonstrate motivation to support various field and technical efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting environmental site assessments and investigations.
• Support remediation planning and implementation activities.
• Prepare work plans, technical reports, proposals, and health & safety plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives.
• Conduct fieldwork, including sampling (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, air), monitoring, and inspections, in accordance with written plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure resources for and oversee fieldwork.
• Perform storm water inspections and sampling for construction, industrial, and municipal sites.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and data management.

Benefits

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation :  Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
