Equipment Operator

Desert Mountain Club consists of seven signature golf courses (six of which are Jack Nicklaus & a par 54 championship course). In this role, you will play a key role in creating a world-class golf facility! You will operate light motorized equipment and trucks on the golf course (or courses), including tractors and tractor-mounted mowing equipment, and perform related work as required reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Prior golf course experience and a valid Arizona Driver's License is required.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate motorized equipment according to manufacturer specifications and Desert Mountain procedures.
  • Operate mowers and tractor drawn equipment in golf course areas.
  • Maintain, lubricate, and make minor adjustments to equipment.
  • Operate and use dump trucks and trailers for hauling materials.
  • Operate any small mowers, blowers, trimmers, rakes, including greens mowers, tee mowers, triplexes and Nationals.
  • Perform all regular duties of a Greenskeeper.
  • Participate in small renovation and construction projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

    • Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :

  • Required to work in an outdoor working environment Regularly
  • Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather Regularly
  • Required to drive a motor vehicle or other vehicle.
  • Required to work days, holidays, and weekends.
