As an Installation Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing our sign and graphic products to life on various surfaces and substrates. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and precision of our installation department. You’ll be the mastermind behind planning, coordinating, and organizing the exact graphic requirements for each job, ensuring every part is installed on time and with 100% accuracy.

You’ll manage inventories meticulously and work within the estimated timeframes to complete your assignments. Communication is key, and you’ll liaise with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure signs and graphics are installed safely and effectively.
Your performance will be measured against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and you’ll be responsible for project reporting and achieving quarterly goals. Director of Project Management
Responsibilities / Duties :Manage, direct, and supervise the team(s), as well as perform installation work.Ensure that sign positioning and mounting method follows the approved shops drawings and recommendations directed by operations and project management.Ensure that the installation follows planning guidelines, logistical requirements, safety requirements and budgetary constraints as identified by operations and project manager.Key Duties :Work with project manager to identify project goals.Source and coordinate subcontractor installation teams when necessary.Coordinate with site contact to confirm site readiness 48hrs prior to scheduled install.Confirm wall readiness, electrical access, and other factors.Manage the installation schedule in conjunction with the project management.Coordinate with project management to maximize installation productivity while minimizing mobilizations.Coordinate all installs with manufacturing schedule.Gather, review, and interpret shop drawings, floor plans and message schedules –understand the complete scope of each project prior to installation.Provide guidance / alternatives regarding potential install difficultiesReview installation methods, hardware and site condition with production and purchasing, identify possible problems and correct them prior to mobilization.Work with design, project management, and job site to ensure upcoming projects can be installed in a timely manner and as shown on drawings.Complete all installation documentation, paperwork and “Installation Checklist” for every project installed. Progress paperwork and completion lists will be required for every installation.Inform production and project manager prior to making any changes.Coordinate and request full size templates or patterns to be made; ensure sizes work at job site prior to installing.Require sign-off / approvals of pattern placement from client prior to installing signs / letters on expensive substrates (Granite, Marble, 3Form, Etc.)Issue field change order requests and share with project team.Site survey / field verify when needed. Place stakes, take photos, and document conditions for all local utilities surveyor / project team.Call in locates.Inform sales and / or customer if deadline cannot be met. (10 days before due date)Present verbal or written ideas to help with shop flow, production, and misc. problems.Direct installation methods and service as needed.Check safety of high voltage installations.Follow all SSSI safety procedures and site safety requirements.Attend weekly project meetings at Serigraphics.Attend jobsite specific Safety meetings – when requiredComply with all jobsite rules and coordinate with site contacts when neededMaintain shop truck(s) (and aerial equipment) - Oil changes, tire rotations, hydraulic inspections and required services to ensure equipment is properly maintained.Maintain and lock all installation tools and equipment.Keep and maintain a thorough inventory list of all installation tools and equipment.
