Location : Berg Middle School or Newton High School

Position : Volunteer Athletic Coach

Start Date : At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics

Availability : At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics

Applicants must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in order to coach for our District.

Process of Volunteer Coach Approval :

• NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions
• Criminal History Background check will take place

Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources :

• Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate
• Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
• Transcripts from Coaching Classes
• Driver License
