Responsibilities

• Patient Assessments : Conduct thorough evaluations during weekend and holiday shifts by gathering patient histories, identifying symptoms, and performing diagnostic tests.
• Diagnosis & Treatment : Diagnose and manage a range of acute, chronic, and preventive care scenarios, ensuring timely and appropriate intervention in a fast-paced environment.
• Treatment Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, relevant to the urgent care setting.
• Procedural Care : Perform minor procedures and interventions that align with the unique care needs encountered during high patient volume periods.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, especially during handoffs between shifts.
• Documentation : Maintain precise and comprehensive records in electronic health systems, ensuring continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
• Adaptability : Quickly adjust to the dynamic demands of weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring seamless patient flow during peak times.
