📍 Location : New Jersey

⏰ Schedule : 7 on / 7 off rotation | 24-hour coverage

🏥 Setting : Hospital-based acute care | Level 2 Trauma Center

📑 EMR : Cerner

🧪 Onsite Lab & Imaging Available

🔍 Position Overview :

Join a high-acuity hospital setting as a GI locum providing full-spectrum inpatient and clinical GI services. This opportunity is ideal for a physician skilled in advanced procedures including ERCP & EUS.

You’ll alternate coverage weekly with another provider across two campuses, maintaining consistent patient care while enjoying downtime during off weeks.

💼 What You’ll Handle :

👨‍⚕️ 15–20 clinic patients / day | ~5 inpatient consults / day

• ️ ERCP & EUS required
• ️ PEG, colonoscopy, upper / lower endoscopy
• ️ Variceal banding, biopsies, GI bleeder control
• ️ Small bowel biopsy, esophageal manometry, sigmoidoscopy

✅ You’ll Need :

Board Certification in Gastroenterology – REQUIRED

NJ Medical License – Preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Advanced GI procedure experience – ERCP & EUS REQUIRED

Comfort working in a Level 2 trauma center

Cerner EMR experience – Preferred
