Warehouse And Distribution Supervisor

This employee supervises the daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments by ensuring the development, implementation, and compliance of all operational policies and procedures with special emphasis on Achc, Osha, and Fda guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing purchasing related processes and exploring new approaches for saving time and money
• Overseeing shipping related activities and exploring alternative cost saving opportunities
• Overseeing facilities and maintenance requirements and ensuring warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient manner
• Training, coordinating, and motivating cleaning and function testing personnel
• Compiling and submitting performance improvement requirements and recommendations

Supervisory responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of employees
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units
• Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Appraising performance
• Rewarding and disciplining employees
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems

Physical demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
