Location : 11601 Landsdown Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, or another location in Bethesda / Rockville where IRMB office operates from and remote work location.Hybrid role

Maturity to communicate and collaborate with client directly

NIH Clearance would be preferred

The Security Engineer performs a variety of operational information technology tasks as specified in the SOW independently or under supervision of System Engineers, ISSO or the COR.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachel : or's Degree or equivalent and six years of relevant experience in IT operational security role and one or more of the following required.

o Enterasys Certified Expert (ECE) - Network Security

o Enterasys Certified Expert (ECE) - Security Information Management

o IBM Certified Associate - Rational AppScan Source Edition

o Security+ Certified Systems Engineer

o SANS Institute Global Information Assurance Certification - Security Essentials (GIAC GSEC)

o SANS Institute Global Information Assurance Certification - Certified Incident Handler (GIAC GCIH)

o EnCase Digital Forensics Certification

o International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium Inc. (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

o (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner

o SANS Institute General Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Expert

o Security Certified Program (SCP) Security Certified Network Architect

o SCP Security Certified Network Professional
