POSITION SUMMARY :

This position performs complex financial, data, technical, and business analysis functions for the Debt Setoff Program (DSO), which include the following agencies : Arizona Tax Intercept (TIP), Arizona Lottery, and Arizona Gaming.

This position is responsible for the development, design, implementation, ongoing operations, testing, and monitoring of the DSO Program financial and case processing reports, reconciliation, technical and business procedures, as it relates to court case management systems, Arizona Department of Revenue, Arizona Lottery, and Arizona Gaming, in limited and general jurisdiction courts statewide. In addition, the position may lead or participate in complex projects that involve planning, researching, testing, and analyzing systems, data, and performance measures, which result in improving the efficiency and collections of outstanding monies in the Arizona Court System.

This position will also serve as a DSO program subject matter expert and unit liaison to the Arizona Court Staff, AOC business analysts, and programming staff for DSO operations, review complex reporting data and ensures the functional data and reporting elements of the TIP Program, as well as create and e-deliver various program training to the court community.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field and five years of court-related experience or the equivalent. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills, and high proficiency in data entry skills, Microsoft Excel and 10-key. This position also requires the ability to use initiative, independent judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision, understand and interpret legislation, rules, administrative orders, policies, and procedures, and demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and manage statewide projects effectively.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge of AJACS and / or other court case management systems, Minimum Accounting Standards followed by the Arizona courts, and QuickBooks Microsoft Excel and Word, Helix, New World, Accurint, eTims, and Report Web.
