About the role and what youll be doing :

The Expert Solution Delivery Architect will be engaged on the transition from clients in-house IT into Ensonos support. Will participate in Knowledge Transfer with clients and assist in documentation creation. Upgrading or applying maintenance to z / OS and ISV products during migration will be required. Engaging in shadowing of client engineers and assisting the transition of services to Ensono engineers will be primary job responsibility. Associate will support new clients during migration and then transition support to steady state teams and disengage. The Expert Solution Delivery Architect supporting z / OS for the Transition Team may be engaged in more than one migration simultaneously.

Will be responsible for upgrades of a clients mainframe software.

Learn client environments as they transition into Ensono

Help transition support of client environment to Ensono Steady State teams

Attend client meetings to understand environment

Address issues as they arise during client migration.

Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Technical knowledge across multiple Mainframe teams

Should be familiar and perform Sysplex activities

Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams as well as provide guidance to junior team members.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to a level of creating documents which can be shared with clients

Required Qualifications

Minimal Requirements include 12 years of experience working within a z / OS environment.

Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z / OS Operating System Storage Databases CICS and Disaster Recovery concepts.

Technical implementation skills required for z / OS Operating System Parallel Sysplex and related ISV software products on the z / OS platform.

This includes experience with SMP / E including base installation and maintenance application. Proficiency in interacting with ISV vendors problem determination and resolution for the products identified above.

ISV products include but are not limited to Sysview Vanguard Tivoli Asset Discovery for z / OS and OPSMVS .

Ability to host meetings and conference calls. Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to a level of creating documents which can be shared with clients.

Ability to perform and lead complex projects

Ability to mentor less senior associates

As of the date of this posting a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $100000 to $150000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills experience internal equity and business addition to base salary other compensation programs depending on eligibility include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance plan and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
