Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a full time chairside dental assistant/oral surgery assistant who is a team player, energetic, eager to learn, and able to exercise good sense of judgement.
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside in various dental procedures, including, but not limited to, surgery, crowns, and root canals.
- Sterilize dental instruments, set up rooms, and break down rooms after patient visits and procedures according to infection control, public health, and sanitary protocols, to ensure the health and safety of all patients and staff.
- Precisely scan patient cases using dental intraoral scanner, accurately fill out lab slips, and send patient cases for fabrication in our dental lab.
- Maintain a calm and personable presence in the office, and attend to patient needs appropriately and with discretion.
- Ensure office protocols and workflows are followed, such as completion of initial and updated patient history, patient consent forms, and patient discharge.
- Occasionally assist in patient intake over the phone and in person.
Other skills and knowledge:
- Required knowledge in sterilization techniques, as well as sterile surgical operatory set up and performance.
- Required skills in organization with high attention to detail and precision.
- Knowledge of, or willing to train, on robotic dental surgery.
- Knowledge of, or willing to train, on digital dental scanning and adjustments.
- Knowledge of, or willing to train, on EmFace (non surgical facelift procedures).
- Knowledge of, or willing to train, on basic photography (and occasionally videography) for use in patient befores and afters.
