Mid-Level Consultant For Supply Chain Management

LMI is seeking a mid-level consultant with a focus on supply chain management to provide support to the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) Program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (OASD(IBP)). This position serves as a Project Lead for ICAM (Industrial Capability Assessment and Management) proposals submitted by industry supporting emerging technologies and munitions. This is a hybrid opportunity. Candidates must reside in the Washington, DC area / within a commutable distance to the client in Alexandria, VA. Visit to the client may be required as needed, and may be on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Lead in overseeing the cost, schedule, and performance of $90M in kinetic capabilities RDT&E projects.
• Assess congressional line items centered around investment in critical and emerging technologies, including munitions systems.
• Evaluate investment opportunities for supply chain and manufacturing process improvements.
• Conduct comprehensive supply chain management assessments to ensure the reliability and efficiency of supply chains critical to the kinetic capabilities sector.
• Report project status to the Kinetic Capabilities Sector Lead.
• Support in-person meetings in the Pentagon with the OUSD(R&E) Principal Deputy for Hypersonics.
• Review and coordinate on project status reports and other documents over JWICS.

Targeted Salary Range : $100,000 - $140,000
