Job Summary
Under general supervision, supports program projects for the School of Medicine-Columbia South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. This position will work closely with the Centers directors and program managers to assure the execution of project plans, including establishing timelines and monitoring the achievement of milestones. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelors degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and / or experience. Required Certification, Licensure / Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Prefer previous experience in coordinating programs, project management experience, from conception to delivery, and experience in public health, program evaluation, or health care systems preferred, but not required. Prefer strong experience in Microsoft package (to include Excel, Word, etc). Experience with computer-based documentation and communication. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Job Duties Job Duty Coordinates Center programs focused on healthcare delivery, to include mobile healthcare units, telehealth, and other delivery programs. Coordinates with Center Program Managers on managing these programs, including providing technical assistance to programs, coordinating administrative support for programs and program managers. Performs onsite visits to funded programs, as needed. Serves as a liaison with the programs and the Center and works with the Center Research and Evaluation team for project impact assessment. Reports progress on these programs to the Center Program Officer. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty Supports the planning and coordination of non-healthcare delivery projects. Coordinates with Center Portfolio Managers on managing these programs, including providing technical assistance to programs, coordinating administrative support for programs and portfolio managers (to include scheduling program meetings in Microsoft Outlook and Teams, documenting action items from meetings, and following up on action items), and serving as a liaison with the programs and Center. Works with the Center Research and Evaluation team for project impact assessment, creating in Excel and Submittable (fund grants program). Reports progress on these programs to the Center Program Officer. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 25 Job Duty Coordinates development of topic-specific surveys and other data collection tools to gather information for projects within the Center, including electronic surveys in SurveyMonkey, REDCap, in-person surveys, focus groups, and key informant interviews. Provides support in writing summary reports, disseminates results, and coordinates with the Center Managers and Directors to incorporate findings into the Centers programs and activities. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty Assists the administrative support team in reporting from funded programs on Submittable (fund grants platform) by preparing reports as required for Center programs as assigned. Works in conjunction with the Communication Coordinator and the Centers dissemination plan to support distribution of materials to relevant stakeholders and audiences using the Centers social media accounts.
