Shifts : Rotating Day and Night Shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Shift Times : Days (07 : 00 - 19 : 30), Nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025, End : 3 / 30 / 2026)

Patient Ratio : Typically 4-5 : 1

Number of Positions : 2

ER RN Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact Nursing License (required at time of submission)

Required certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI / CCM

Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends

COVID-19 vaccination status required

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

At least 1 year of registered nurse experience

2 supervisor references preferred

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a dynamic ER setting

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records

Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions

Float to other units within the hospital as required

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
