We are looking for a service minded Host / Hostess to complete our Front of Desk team for Carmine's. Our Hosts / Hostesses have an inviting and warm personality and aims to please every guest who walks in our doors. Providing a welcoming and bright smile and making sure all guests are greeted promptly. As the first and last point of contact, our Host / Hostess are genuinely friendly, yet professional and tactful while engaging with every guest. The ideal candidates will have a professional demeanor with excellent communication skills, exceptionally organized, and succeed in a team-based environment.

Your Role with Us :

• As a Host / Hostess, you will set the stage for the guests first experience when walking through our doors; you will greet and say goodbye to every guest with a warm smile and provide thoughtful service.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, engaging the guest about both Carmine's and Virgil's locations and inviting them back again for Special Events and Catering experiences.
• Work with the Maitre'd to ensure smooth service and seating arrangement for the entire restaurant.
• Answer phone and manage our Open Table reservation systems, in addition to moving tables together to accommodate large parties when needed.
• Create strong guest relationships as you seat guests in our dining room and help create an incredible first experience at our restaurant.
• Our host / Hostesses engage with our guests both indoors and outside the front door, explaining our menu, inviting them in to dine with us and ensuring each potential guest becomes a regular at our Restaurant!
• Thank our guest for dining with us creating that final last great impression!
