About the Role

You.com is pioneering the future of search and knowledge retrieval with our composable AI platform. Empowering enterprises and developers to build, customize, and scale AI-driven solutions. Our platform combines Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Enterprise Search, and a robust suite of high-performance APIs (Search, News, Express, and more), enabling customers to create tailored AI experiences that fit their unique needs.

As an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, owning the full sales cycle for both our end-to-end enterprise solutions and our developer-first APIs. You'll engage with executives, technical leaders, and product teams, helping them unlock the power of composable AI to drive innovation and business value. This is a high-impact, consultative role for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise sales, technical evangelism, and developer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle : Lead everything from prospecting and discovery to demos, technical validation, negotiation, and close.
  • Sell across product lines :
  • Composable E2E Solutions (RAG / Enterprise Search) : Position You.com as the enterprise's trusted AI partner for secure, private, and domain-specific knowledge retrieval.
  • Composable APIs : Engage developer teams, product managers, and data / AI leaders seeking to embed search and language capabilities directly into their products, leveraging our modular, plug-and-play APIs.
  • Drive multi-stakeholder deals : Navigate complex sales cycles involving executives, IT / security, procurement, and technical end-users to align on business value and technical fit.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally : Partner with Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and RevOps to craft compelling proposals and ensure seamless customer handoffs.
  • Pipeline generation : Build and manage a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, strategic partnerships, and vertical-specific plays.
  • Voice of the customer : Gather and relay market feedback to Product and Marketing, influencing roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience : In a technical SaaS environment, ideally with exposure to AI / ML, APIs, or enterprise search platforms.
  • Proven track record : Of exceeding quota across both enterprise and technical buyer personas.
  • Technical fluency : Ability to articulate concepts like APIs, embeddings, RAG frameworks, and security models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience running complex, multi-threaded sales cycles : With Fortune 1000 or high-growth tech companies.
  • Comfort engaging with developers, data teams, and IT / security stakeholders :
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Nice to Haves

  • Hands-on familiarity with APIs, SDKs, or developer tools (e.g., testing endpoints, using Postman).
  • Experience selling AI / LLM platforms, data infrastructure, or search technologies.
  • Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.

    Salary Band : $150,000 - $220,000 USD
