Pay Range : Local $70-$75 / hr | Travel $77-$82 / hr

Position Summary :

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver precise and compassionate radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced radiation therapy equipment and oncology systems to ensure accurate treatment delivery, patient safety, and adherence to prescribed treatment plans, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary oncology care team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain Varian radiation therapy equipment, including TrueBeam and 23ix linear accelerators.
• Utilize the ARIA Oncology Information System for treatment planning, verification, and documentation.
• Perform patient setup, positioning, and immobilization to ensure precise treatment delivery.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to patient needs or concerns.
• Use VisionRT (Surface Guided Radiation Therapy - SGRT) for enhanced patient positioning and motion management, when applicable.
• Assist with HDR brachytherapy procedures using the Varian Bravos HDR system.
• Participate in CT simulation procedures using Phillips CT Simulator (CT Sim).
• Follow radiation safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and infection control policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records.
• Collaborate effectively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
