About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in West Virginia!

We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician for a 90-day locum tenens opportunity in West Virginia, starting Jan 12, 2026. This assignment features a Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, with combined inpatient and outpatient practice and 1 : 4 call rotation, offering a balanced and engaging clinical experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Manage general hematology and oncology procedures
  • Cover inpatient duties during call weeks
  • Participate in a 1 : 4 call rotation
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions

    • Additional Information

  • Active West Virginia medical license required
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology required
  • Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) certification required
  • Experience with general hematology / oncology procedures necessary
