What you will do :

The Business Development rep role is a senior-level position focused on HVAC filtration sales and distributor engagement. This individual will lead efforts to develop an inside sales program, with a strong emphasis on tele-sales and office-based operations in Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HVAC filtration sales, distributor relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives.

  • Launch and manage an inside sales program with a focus on tele-sales and distributor engagement.
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach and strategic account management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop best practices for inside sales operations.
  • Provide product expertise and support to distributors, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track performance, forecast sales, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Other accountabilities as assigned.

  • Education and Experience :

  • Mandatory :
  • 3–5 years of HVAC filtration sales experience.

  • Proven success selling to distributors in the filtration industry.
  • Preferred :
  • Experience in tele-sales and inside sales program development.

  • 10+ years overall filtration industry experience (ideal for senior-level candidates).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement growth strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools.

  • Competencies :

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of HVAC filtration and distributor sales.
  • Works independently on complex problems and demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions.
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Working Conditions :

    Office environment in Aurora, IL. Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate office and production areas as needed. Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds. Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility based on operational needs.
