Generative AI Specialist

US Working Hours (14:00-22:00 PL time)
100% remote
B2B: 190-200 zł/h netto + VAT

We’re seeking a Generative AI Specialist to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve productivity, enhance customer experiences, and unlock new business capabilities. You’ll prototype and productionize applications using large language models (LLMs), multimodal models, and vector databases, collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Translate business problems into AI use cases; develop architectures leveraging LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
• Model Integration: Evaluate and integrate foundation models (e.g., GPT-family, Claude, Llama, Mistral) via APIs or on-prem frameworks; fine-tune or instruct models when appropriate.
• RAG & Knowledge Ops: Stand up vector stores, index enterprise content, and implement guardrails, prompt templates, and evaluation loops for trustworthy outputs.
• Quality & Safety: Establish offline/online evaluation (accuracy, latency, toxicity, bias) and apply content filtering, governance, and safety policies.
• MLOps & Observability: Instrument usage analytics, prompt/version management, model monitoring, and cost tracking; automate deployments via CI/CD.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Security, and Data teams to prioritize features and meet compliance requirements.
• Documentation & Enablement: Create reusable prompts/components, patterns, and developer guides; support internal training and adoption.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years building AI/ML or NLP systems; 1–3+ years hands-on with LLMs and generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript; experience with model APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), vector DBs (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Practical knowledge of RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI into apps (web, mobile, chat, or agent frameworks).

Preferred Qualifications

• Fine-tuning/instruction tuning experience; familiarity with transformers and modern LLM stacks.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, Responsible AI, and security best practices.
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, DVC), feature stores, and observability (LangSmith, Helicone, Arize).
• Domain experience (e.g., customer support, knowledge management, content generation, analytics, software development productivity).
