Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a MA license and at least 1 year of home health experience for a float position in the North Region.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in home health settings providing care to patients in their residences
  • Float between assignments within the North Region
  • Patient population includes individuals of all ages with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
  • Standard work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Weekend rotation is required once every 6 weeks
  • EPIC charting is utilized for documentation
  • Provide physical therapy assessments, implement interventions, and maintain electronic documentation in accordance with agency standards
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Parking at Boston area locations is not validated and may incur daily fees; public transportation and public lots are options
  • Two professional references are required for consideration
  • Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston; different pay rate may apply
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position

  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts required; MA conditional licenses not accepted; license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of recent home care experience required
  • Certifications must be from the American Heart Association
  • Proof of flu vaccination required; no exemptions are permitted
  • Ability to travel to patient locations within the assigned region
