Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospital Medicine
Phoenix Childrenâ€s is seeking a talented, energetic and team oriented Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Hospital Medicine division and to be based primarily at Phoenix Childrenâ€s Arrowhead campus. This position is full-time does include weekends.Â

The Hospital Medicine team at Phoenix Childrenâ€s Arrowhead is comprised of an expert team of fellowship-trained pediatricians who provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary inpatient care, facilitating seamless communication between the inpatient and outpatient setting. Â

The hospital medicine APP will work primarily in the inpatient setting and duties will include performing daily rounds and completing electronic health record documentation for multiple subspecialty providers, communicating the plan to the attending subspecialists on call, facilitating communication of patient care plans with the hospital medicine, PICU and NICU attendings, and other duties that may include participation in procedures if credentialled. Â Experience with surgical populations is desired.Â

The ideal candidates will have a broad base of clinical knowledge and be willing to learn and develop specific skills / knowledge related to surgical and gastrointestinal acute care diseases. Â
