- Position is hybrid and requires minimum 2 days a week in office (Minnetonka, MN or Roseville, CA) / ph3Key Responsibilities / h3ulliServe as the subject matter expert for data interactions and integrations between HRIS and payroll systems. / liliLead and support the review, testing, and implementation of Payroll / HRIS integrations, system upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and enhancements. / liliAnalyze HRIS and payroll performance metrics; troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues to ensure optimal system functionality. / liliPartner with Payroll to support payroll processing audits and ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery. / liliManage and execute payroll and HR analytics projects, delivering actionable insights to improve efficiency and accuracy. / liliPerform application upgrades and provide training and technical support to end users. / liliDevelop, implement, and continuously optimize HRIS and payroll processes to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. / liliCollaborate with HRIS, Benefits, HR Business Partners, Finance, and other stakeholders to streamline payroll processes and maintain regulatory and policy compliance. / liliIdentify process gaps and inefficiencies; recommend and implement effective solutions. / liliResearch, analyze, and resolve complex payroll issues, including reconciliations, overpayments, taxation, finance-related adjustments, and system discrepancies. / liliDocument processes, procedures, system configurations, and testing results. / liliAssist with maintaining payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX documentation, and audit requests. / liliConduct ongoing system and integration audits to ensure data accuracy between payroll and HRIS platforms. / liliSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reporting activities. / liliServe as payroll processing backup for Payroll Specialists as needed. / li / ulh3Qualifications Experience / h3ulliMinimum of 4+ years of relevant payroll, HRIS, or systems experience. / liliBachelors degree preferred. / liliCPP or FPC certification preferred. / liliAdvanced proficiency with HRMS platforms, including UKG and Workday. / liliAdvanced expertise in UKG BI Reporting. / liliStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. / liliProven ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data to improve HRIS and payroll processes. / liliAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines. / liliExperience working with integrated payroll systems and cross-platform data flows. / liliExtensive knowledge of payroll processes, including preparation, balancing, reconciliations, and internal controls. / liliComprehensive knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws. / liliFamiliarity with SOX internal controls and audit requirements. / li / ulh3Technical Skills / h3ulliHRIS and Payroll Systems : UKG, Workday / liliWorkday reporting and payroll system integrations (UKG) / liliAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) / liliProficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook / li / ulp#LI-MB1 / pp#payrollanalyst / ppThe estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work.
