Description :

The registered nurse will work a mix of 5 days one week and 4 days the next, totaling 72 hours over two weeks.

The shift options are 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM and 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

Patient population includes pediatrics to geriatrics.

Specialties served include retina surgery, total hip / knees, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4 with 5 operating rooms and an average daily census of 18 patients.

The unit uses Epic and Pyxis systems.

Scrub color is provided by the facility.

Requested time off (RTO) is allowed up to 7 days.

The position does not require weekend work, and floating is rare.

There are no on-call requirements, but there may be a need to stay over if certain conditions in the operating rooms are met.

Holidays may need to be worked depending on the assignment period.

Compliance is required prior to start.

Candidates must be available to submit required items and complete any necessary labs promptly.
