Job Description :
- In this role, the candidate will design and develop manufacturing processes for products, taking in consideration problems inherent in the aftermarket production.
- Such design and development may include existing or revised processes.
- The candidate will also develop procedures for the economical production, repair, and overhaul in cooperation with MRO plant and production departments.
- In addition, the candidate will conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
- The responsibility includes the troubleshooting and maintenance of testing equipment (electrical, hydraulic, electronic controls, and software).
- Previous work experience troubleshooting and maintaining testing equipment.
- CAD modeling experience preferred.

Define optimum LRU configurationDefine optimum workscope and build standard for existing productsReview failure data, cost, and parts usage, across the repair siteMake decisions and recommendations based on this data reviewProvide in-house advocacy for newly developed parts repairs / processes approval by Service Engineering and Client Miramar Management.nalyze removal causes and develop corrective actionsOptimize on-wing life for LRU by review of CMM and SAP dataReview shop visit data and provide recommendations to optimize the shop visit rate for LRUWork with Service Engineering to develop new product work scopes based on dataWork in a team environment with Service Engineering, Program Engineering, Repair Engineering, Flight Sense Technical Advisors, and Miramar Repair shop to optimize product reliability, maximize economical parts usage, and maintain high levels of customer satisfactionProvide status to Management and Miramar Site Teams of top cost reduction initiatives in processMaintain proficiency in assigned SAP productsReview shop and testing practicesIssue repair shop troubleshooting recommendationsReview receiving inspection and provides test verification recommendationsProvide recommendations for parts scrap, reuse, replacement, rework, and repair determinationReview component repair workPerform failure and test reject analysisDevelop and reviews parts rework and repair proceduresTrack, review, and analyze unit reliabilityRequirements :
Provide shop training as required.Provides initial and recurrent shop technical and process flow training as requiredProvide quality, product, and reliability improvement recommendations to the Engineering ManagerOptimize shop parts usage versus component reliability to assure Miramar repair site goals are metCoordinate overall product line (Miramar repair shop) issues as requiredParticipate as a member of the implementation team for new product or customer programsPerform and maintain active role in Financial Analysis of programs and implementation of corrective actions where required to achieve established program financial goalsDevelop and maintains proficiency in the computer software required to perform the job functions.Provide technical support to the Quality department and to the Quality Manager, regarding compliance issuesProvide technical support to the EH&S department regarding issues related to the environment, health, and safetyEducation :
