Emergency Medical Technician

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Salary: $57,200.00 - $69,212.00 / year, based on experience.

We are looking for dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are eager to provide compassionate and high-quality care to our patients. Join a dynamic team committed to making a difference in emergency medical services.

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the best course of action while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to deliver top-tier medical treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information about the care being administered.
• Lead the Paramedic team by managing the scene of emergencies and ensuring efficient unit operations.
• Operate the ambulance safely during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in community outreach programs to promote the AMR brand and strengthen community relationships.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility for Kansas certification.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire; PALS preferred but not mandatory.
• Driving record that meets company standards.
• Successful completion of a Physical Agility Test.
• Some prior work experience, preferably in healthcare.
