As a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Patrol in Rock Tavern, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help promote a secure environment, while you interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting a reliable and innovative team, where people come first and integrity is at the core of everything we do. Pay Rate : $19.62 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and / or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site contacts regarding incidents or issues encountered during patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
