Independent Delivery Driver

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking reliable and motivated independent contractors to complete e-commerce delivery routes.This position involves picking up packages from the warehouse and delivering them to customers in designated service areas. Routes are consistent, and volume is expected to increase during the peak season.

Responsibilities:

• Load packages at the warehouse
• Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and business addresses
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently and on time
• Handle packages with care and ensure accurate deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
• Must pass MVR check, background check, and drug screening
• Ability to lift packages (up to 70 lbs) with the use of a dolly if needed.
• Smartphone with GPS and data plan
• Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented (no smoking on site or around packages)
• Must be punctual and reliable

This role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently using maps and GPS technology. The driver will serve as a key representative of the company, interacting with clients and warehouse personnel to facilitate smooth logistics operations. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the operational success and customer satisfaction by ensuring reliable transportation management and delivery services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid License and state required minimum insurance
• Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS navigation systems.
• Strong understanding of transportation management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with transportation management software.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
