Oncology VP of Experimental Medicine

A company is looking for a Vice President of Experimental Medicine - Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute global medical / clinical and translational strategy for the therapeutic area

Oversee the design and conduct of early-phase clinical studies ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance

Build and inspire high-performing global teams while fostering innovation and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

MD or MD / PhD in a relevant medical specialty with board-certification in oncology or hematology

10-15 years of combined experience in hospital, academic, and industry settings, including senior leadership roles

Deep understanding of disease biology, clinical trial design, and translational medicine

Proven ability to influence enterprise-level decisions in a global matrix organization

Familiarity with global drug development and compliance requirements
