[job_card.job_description]At least 2 years of experience in endoscopy or gastroenterology. BLS certification (AHA only) is required. Proficiency in assisting with GI procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EBUS). Solid understanding of endoscope cleaning, disinfection, and infection control practices. Availability for AM shifts and on-call requirements. High school diploma or GED is mandatory. Support in Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Procedures Expertise in Endoscope Reprocessing & Infection Control Knowledge of Aseptic Technique & Patient Safety Equipment Setup, Cleaning, and Room Turnover
A reputable hospital chain is looking for a passionate Endoscopy Technician to join their dynamic Gastroenterology department. We offer an attractive pay range of $1800-$2000 per week, along with travel, meal, and transportation stipends.
Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians and RNs during a variety of GI procedures, including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
- Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy equipment following stringent infection control standards.
- Continuously monitor patients during procedures and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Efficiently perform room turnover and restock essential supplies to support workflow.
