Clayton Services is searching for an Advanced CNC Programmer to join a thriving company in the Southwest Houston area. The Advanced CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex multi-axis CNC programs to support precision manufacturing operations.
Job Type : Direct Hire
Pay Rate : $35.00-$40.00 / hour

Advanced CNC Programmer Responsibilities :
- Develop, program, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers
- Create and modify CNC code using G-code and M-code for production efficiency and accuracy
- Translate engineering drawings and CAD models into effective machining programs
- Conduct program simulations and verifications to reduce errors and scrap
- Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs during production runs as needed
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to improve machining processes
- Maintain CNC programming documentation and standard operating procedures
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists on advanced CNC techniques
- Provide support on the production floor to observe machining operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Advanced CNC Programmer Skills and Abilities :
Advanced proficiency in CNC programming (G-code and M-code)Strong experience with CAD / CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or similarExtensive knowledge of multi-axis CNC machining (5-axis programming preferred)Solid understanding of tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies for complex componentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced CNC Programmer Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferredProven experience in advanced CNC programming within a manufacturing environmentExperience working with Fanuc and HAAS controls preferredAdvanced CNC Programmer - Immediate need. Apply today!
