Role Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated Child Care Program Coordinator who will manage the daily operations of our CalWORKs Welfare-to-Work and Refugee employment services in San Diego, California. In this role, you will maintain our applicant and employer database, ensuring our business services team operates effectively. You will also assist with County paperwork and utilize the CalSaws database for data entry and reporting tasks. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a solid administrative background and strong attention to detail. You will initially report to the Child Care Supervisor.

Additionally, you are expected to support our staff and collaborate with various departments to foster a positive work environment. This position requires full-time, in-office availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming child care referrals and evaluate eligibility for programs and supportive services.
• Ensure accurate data entry into case management systems and the child care database.
• Distribute cases to Child Care Specialists for timely engagement with customers.
• Host and co-host virtual child care intake sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation :

At Public Consulting Group, compensation varies based on factors such as office location, role, skills, and experience level. The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $59,999, with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, 401k, paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
